ORBit naming service

Hi all- Just a quick query:

Does anybody know if there are any plans to develop the ORBit naming
service so that it can be used as described in the CORBA specification?

It would be nice to be able to use code such as:
root = CORBA_ORB_resolve_initial_service (orb, "NameService", &ev);
to access the name server and never need worry about IORs.
