Any examples for VisiBroker 4 on Solaris, and Gnome on Linux using Java?

I'm looking for the simplest example possible to test communications
between Gnome on Linux (Linux Mandrake 7.2) and VisiBroker 4.0 on
Solaris.
Anyone have an example or caveats for this setup? Trying to get my feet
wet with Java and Corba.
