Running the echo-example

Hello,

I've a curious problem and I hope one of you can help me.

I successfully compiled the echo-example and it runns without problems
on two windows opened on one Computer (suns, unix).
If I login on two computers and try to run the server in a shel on one
computer and the client in a shel on the other computer the following
happens:
They first find each other, but when I want to send a message to the
server the client stops running. This is the message of the client
(there is no reaction on the server):
Type messages to the server
. as the only thing on the line stops
wert
we got exception 2 from echoString!

I really need to solve this problem because the same occures in my own
applications.
