IP Address in IOR... not hostname...

I know others have asked this question, but I've never seen an
answer.  Is there any way to get ORBit to work off the IP address
instead of the Hostname?  This would be very useful for me.  If I
can't do this, I'm going to have to put in a hack to do it.  Is this
against the standard?
