WPA on Atheros.

Hello,
I'm trying to get NetworkManager running with madwifi and wpa-psk. It
tends to work (after a long association time) with WEP, but with wpa it
just pops up a message saying "The requested wireless network requires
security capabilities unsupported by your hardware."
I know it should work, since I get the impression that that's the
hardware the esteemed Mister Robert Love (just got your book yesterday,
good stuff!) uses.
I'm using NetworkManager 0.6, wpa_supplicant 0.5.1, and madwifi v1443.
I'm using Robert's patch for forcing madwifi, and a timeout of 90 seconds.
The log doesn't show anything concretely wrong with it, it's pasted in
below.
I'm just about ready to dump this card in favour of ipw or something.
It's silly that all of this worked better when I got it two years ago. I
can't understand the ridiculous regressions in madwifi.
