Wpa Enterprise doesn' work

hello,

has anyone tested wpa enterprise with TTLS and PAP activated?
connection with nm fails, when i want to use wireless lan in
university. 
connecting with wpa_supplicant works this way:

network-manager doesn't provide a choice for the pap-protocol - that
could be a reason, or not?
