nm-vpnc error on gentoo

Hi all,
Steev has created an ebuild for vpnc support in gentoo and I tried it
just a few minutes ago. The menu items all appear fine but the
connection with vpnc fails (too silently by the way).
Here is what happens in /var/log/message
