error while starting /usr/libexec/nm-applet

Hello,

I built NetworkManager under Gentoo but I cannot get the applet working under
Gnome 2.10. It crashes with the following error:
"The NetworkManager applet could not find some required ressources It cannot
continue." :-(
I didn't find any other debugging infos...

Any Idea?
