[patch] add a "connection information" dialog.

Hey, guys and gals.

The attached email implements a "Connection Information" dialog,
accessible from the right-click menu, with connection-related
information such as IP address, subnet mask, active interface, and so
on.

This information is useful for power users, obviously, but is admittedly
not what one would expect from a "Just Works" applet bent on usability.

Well, there is one big reason why we need it: IT Support.  Users call
with a problem and "What is your IP?" is a common question for
debugging, VNC login, or whatever purposes.
