Bill,
We don't set the MAC address of the AP on the card itself, the address you
see there comes from the card's firmware and is valid when the card
thinks it's associated with a base station. Most drivers don't support
locking to a particular AP anyway, so setting the AP address would do no
good.
What this says is that somehow, we fail to connect to the access point.
I'll have to send you a patch that will print out the WEP key in hashed
form so that you can verify that it is _indeed_ the correct key being set
on the card (and so you can verify that the key is right with 'iwconfig'
and all that).
Sorry for the recent instability, I'm trying to track about 5 problems at
once here...
