Hello,
Is there a project or interest in using/implementing Dynamic
Configuration of IPv4 Link-Local Addresses

basically, when all method of finding an ip failed (wireless/dhcp).
you try to find an available ip in the 169.254/16 subnetwork.

currently i know 2 software that implement it, and i think it's
incorporated in the ipv6 protocol.
MacOs and windows also implement it.
