hi all,

there is one thing that is getting on my nerves about nautilus, which is
otherwise an *excellent* file manager, is that it keeps readjusting the
column width of the filename, date, file type, etc.

Is there a way to fix this?

E.G. torrent or mp3 files often have very long filenames and nautilus
will expand that column to see all of it, instead of cutting it off at
the max width and preserving my "lay-out".

Any feedback or help appreciated.
