smb browsing

I've post the below question to GNOME-VFS and have not got an answer,
maybe someone here can help me. Please CC me as I'm not subscribed to
the list.

I'm using dropline-gnome 2.12.2, gnome-vfs 2.12.2, nautilus 2.12.2 I can
not browse via places>network servers>Windows Network or smb://. I get
no error, just a blank listing. I can see all my shares via KDE and on a
windows box, but I have 4 gnome 2.12.2 systems and none of them can see
each other or a windows share. I can add a share to my desktop via
places->connect to server.
