dude, as you've seen today modifications similar to the ones you've 
suggested have been made. _ACCESS is now used, in my latest patch. but you 
did say it's too slow to call get_file_info where i've called it. so where 
could i call it from? it would be helpful if you pointed that out. thank 
you! : )
