status of posix acl support

Hi,

I am interested in the status of posix acl support in nautilus. I've
found in the mailing list archives that somebody has worked on in last
october and I've read something about support in the next gnome
version, too.

I would be glad if somebody could clarify this a little bit?

If there is an experimental patch or something like this I would like to try it.
