But for political reasons (Red Hat/Sun/Novell) we're in my opinion not yet ready to integrate any C# code into GNOME. Also, pushing such specialized technology down the stack isn't always the best choice. We should for now rather try to provide UI hooks where we lack them to enable 3rd parties to provide useful extensions. I think we're already pretty good at this and iFolder seems to make extensive use of these hooks. If Nautilus lackeded substantial integration technology, I'm convinced that Novell guys would have complained in bugzilla [1]. If you see any particular weak point in our design, please share your criticism with us so that we can fix it to improve your iFolder/Nautilus experience.
