Thanks for your efforts!
The problem is that if we add "Skip All", we should add "Replace All" as
well (symmetry is good, there is also another bug report about this
IMHO). Having 5 buttons in this dialog would be a bit much, though. I
think I've written to usability list a few months ago about this.
I've tried MacOS X yesterday and it seems to provide an extra
checkbutton which allows you to apply your choice for all future
conflicts.

All of us agree that the current solution is suboptimal. here are
fundamental discussions on the usability list about the future of this
dialog [1,2].

Additionally We're in UI freeze, so this is 2.14 stuff.
