Okay I understand that and strictly speaking nautilus is one application
consisting of the desktop, browser and spatial modes so yes logically
you are right - if we were to make use of Ctrl+Q in that instance
(assuming we are following the letter of the law) then that should close
nautilus completely.
However from an end user point of view I would argue that these
different modes appear as different applications and therefore it would
be appropriate for Ctrl+Q to be used to close all spatial windows (and
likewise the "Close All Windows" in the browser mode could also use
Ctrl+Q for consistency). I cant believe there would ever be a need to
quit nautilus entirely as its the desktop so there would never be a
conflict with or a need for a "quit" shortcut for nautilus as such.
