Yup, the mechanism has changed from being a bonobo interface to a GModule.
This is only in the really recent versions of nautilus (I believe 2.5.5, I
have 2.5.4 and I don't see it here yet, but I do see it in cvs)

If you want a good example, checkout the nautilus-vcs module from cvs. It
has very nice documentation, etc...
