Re: smb:// in nautilus sends unencrypted passwords

I am reading the crap from the dialogue, but I am also unable to access
W2K shares. If you deem it useful I can check if I can access the shares
if I alter the settings on a W2K box, but this has to wait until after
office hours.

Can anyone tell me how/if the way of sending passwords with nautilus is
affected, if at all? Is there some config it adheres to?

Do you actually know that its sending unencrypted passwords, or are you
just reading the crap in the dialog (which has no basis in reality).
