nautilus searching trash folders...

Hi.

This is my first mail. I'm not a native english speaker, so 
sorry.

Few weeks ago, i sent my pc to technical service. Since then, 
at starting gnome a pop-up notification window tells me that 
Nautilus is searching my disks for Trash folders. Nautilus 
didn't do it before.

What it's mean?, why is it doing that? and who can i fix the 
problem?

One more thing, i have a floppy I/O error now, may be this is 
the problem?...
