i assume thats in 2.5.1 'as standard' i have another box running redhat
9 and it works fine there and its version 2.2.1. i found it quite
bizarre that in 2.4.1 it wouldn't. perhaps redhat tweak it somewhat and
get it to work in 2.2.1.

the other thing is that i'm running suse 9 which is kde centric. i
thought perhaps they justdidn't fiddle too much with it. anyway...

thanks for that... i was going quietly mad as to why i couldn't get it
to work.
