Note that while this is very good idea with browser interface (NeXT used
column mode which is now used by Finder too), this gives little to no
gain for spatial case (instead of dragging to shelf and then to target,
you can drag to target directly). It is nice idea however for browser.
Plus, I think it was already discussed on usability list, together with
generic "DnD cup-holder" thing that would simply accept any target and
serve as place to hold them temporarily. Grep archives to see if I
remembered that correctly :)
