Hello,
I'm testing 2.4 with Morphix dot 4-1 Gnome 2.4.
How can I set 'desktop_is_home_dir' to 'true' entry option into gconf xml
apps/nautilus/preferences file...where it doesn't seems to appear?
I cannot upgrade my testing users to 2.4 if I cannot activate this
featuure because they already use the 'desktop' as their real daily
workspace.They doesn't know about /Desktop folder.
They doesn't need /Desktop folder as 'desktop' for their folder space.
May I hack somewhere into some gnome conf file? What happened really?
Now they has:
$HOME/
|-Documents
|-Pictures
|-Multimedia
|-Music
|-Video
|-Downloads
|-Works
|-System
|-Local Applications
|-root (Link to /)
|-Applications Menu
|-Shared
|-MailBoxes
...
All that object (and more) appears on their desktops...
Do I have to move all that objects into /Dektop folders??Really?
Happy Hacking!!
