Re: Major change in desktop handling



That's the point of this patch.  Desktop is owned by the user, and
displayed by nautilus.  It is where users put their documents,
downloads, etc.  It needs to be user-visible.

The patch puts the volume/home/trash links in memory to avoid touching a
user-owned directory.
