Re: folder icons in debian

Thanks for the answers from Joshua, Shaun and James,

For the next person with this problem:

When upgrading to gnome2 in debian sid the icons for folders  in
nautilus all change to the blank icons as do the trash and home icons on
the desktop.

I solved it by going into gconf editor and creating a key for icon_theme
with the value gnome under /desktop/gnome/interface/
