i guess that would seem to be the case, though i have yet to hear back from dropline on why they decided to remove the patch. but i am without a doubt, sure that it was once there, as the the maintainer of dropline himself answered some questions i had about it. i guess i will have to be patient until this feature becomes more stable and is (hopefully) re-added.
