It fails on all files.

No not that i know of, ive tried plain ascii text files, binary files,
they all do the same.

foo.txt and foo.bin

copying from ext3 to msdos
hmmm letme try copy to an ext2 stiffy.

normal copy'ing works fine, ie $ cp foo.txt /mnt/floppy
If you need any other information, just let me know what and how.
