help launching files in nautilus

Hello

I'm customizing nautilus and I need to launch an app to read a file at
some point.

I tried to use nautilus_launch_show_file, calling
nautilus_file_get_existing then using its return as parameter for
nautilus_launch_show_file, but nautilus segfaults. I've spent quite a
while trying to figure this out and I'm stumped.

I'm using Nautilus 2.4.0.
