Views in Nautilus

Hi,

I'm a newbie under Linux and as I was very familiar with the Windows
Explorer, I'd like to view my files in Nautilus in a List View (a full
list of file name without details but on several columns and with a
small icon on the left of the name).
As far I know the only view style provided are Icons and List (which is
for me the equivalent of Detail in Windows).

Is it possible to add this new type of view?
Is there any work in this area?
