Hello,
I am interested in using nautilus as a file manager only.
I do not run gnome as my wm, I run fluxbox. However, I like the
capabilities that nautilus can provide. Is there a way of running
nautilus without all of the dependencies of Gnome? I understand that I
can run nautilus with the --no-desktop option to bring up just the fm,
but I cannot associate applications to file types without installing
more pieces of gnome and the same goes for other features.
Is this even possible with nautilus or is nautilus now dependent on
gnome?
Thank you,
-Jamie
