Hi all, I filed what I believe to be a bug against gedit in Red Hat 9, which involves gedit creating backups in the form of 'filename~', which are not viewable under nautilus with or without the show hidden and backup files checked. I won't go into repeating the bug report and just point you at the Red Hat bugzilla instead.
