Well, after reading the above message I decided to see for myself, and
indeed, after guessing a few times to get the URL right (the
autocompletion also doesn't work for chained URLs it appears) I got the
directory listing for samba-2.2.5.tar.bz2 in my home directory, clicked
on WHATSNEW.txt and got this lovely screenshot:
