I don't think it's a crack feature. I'm thankful for what file-roller
does in the meantime, but working with files in a transparent manner is
what nautilus should be good at. Be they local files, files on a network
share or archived files (and archived files on network shares too ;). It
fits perfectly into the existing UI too. Nothing on crack with that.
