I suspect the amount of code in gless that handles a text widget
is considerably less than the amount of code needed to bonobize
gless.

Basically, gless is just a text widget, so there is not real difference
between bonoboizing gless and just writing a nautilus component with
a text widget in it. Except that the latter introduces less problems 
with inter-module dependencies.
