Turns out that you did it, Havoc. :-)

It was a bug in a function you wrote for eel back in January when you were
removing user level support. It built a GSList with g_slist_prepend, but
didn't reverse the list before passing it to gconf_value_set_list_nocopy.

This reversed the order of the default icon captions, making size the third
caption, and type the first.
