Nautilus Crash

Hi I'm noticing the following problem with nautilus on my laptop
computer.

When I try to make a a multiple selection on the desktop or in a
directory my machine crashes and requires a hard reset. I believe this
is only when the selection rectangle drawn surpasses a certain verticle
number of pixels.

I would be happy to try to debug this if someone could tell me how?

The bug is present when I use the latest debian package and when I
compiule naultis from source.
