If you get them registered, then not in this form (more like 
vnd.xdg.home:// or something to that effect), since the IETF won't let 
you "steal" such valueable names.

But you could publish the specs in an informational RFC 
"Pseudo-protocols for desktop use" and see how far you get with it.
