Dave, if there is a bug on this, could you please point me to it?  I
still can't understand the value of this change.  Sorry.

I would not be too upset if we got rid of the font preference from both
views, but I still don't understand the motivation for making this
change only to the list view.  In any case, I agree that zooming is a
more important feature, but it's definitely not mutually exclusive...
