I checked in the workaround patch in bug 7686 (the one you tried and
fixed the problem) into the nautilus-1 branch.

That means that the Nautilus 1.0.1 release will work for you out of the
box in the Hungarian locale (and others that were bombing as well)

When is 1.0.1 coming out ?  I dunno that a date has been announced for
it, but it should be pretty soon depending on the state of translations,
since the 1.0.1 release is basically a translations release.

Still, we wanted to get this tiny (and safe) fix in into 1.0.1.

I am currently working on much better long term fixes for i18n/font
things in Nautilus.  Im going to be checking these into the CVS HEAD
soon and they will be part of the Nautilus 1.2 release.  There has been
no date announced for 1.2 that I know of.
