One nice feature I worked on some time ago (but never checked in) was a
"View as Font" content view for Nautilus.  

I also liked the idea of doing previews of the fonts as part of the icon
itself.  We have all the work for this done in Eel, so it should be easy
to implement.

At the time I was persuaded to not do it (I cant recall by who??)
because of a imminent "cleanup" of the preview code.

Anyway, when I looked at the preview code, it looked very easy to hack
this feature in.

Oh, and im thinking of checkin in the nautilus-font-viewer component
into a "nautilus-extras" package.  Or is there somewhere else it should
go ?

It could go into Nautilus itself for convenience, but why, since we have
a good componetized system.
