[Nautilus-list] Confusing "View as Other" dialog

The Sun docs team have been bugging me again about usability issues
they're finding while writing the user guide, as Darin has just
discovered :)  This time they're on about bug 61592, the Nautilus "View
as other > Modify" dialog.

Anyone willing to have a stab at tackling this one during-- or more
likely, shortly after-- the Great Porting Effort, to get them off my
back?  :)
