[Nautilus-list] Breaking metadata compatibility

As part of eliminating directory metadata, I have switched some things
from using directory metadata to using file metadata. This includes
window geometry saving and various sidebar color/pattern
attributes. So these customizations will not be carried over when you
next build.

There will be at least one more round of this for directory
backgrounds and other directory activation stuff, and also the default
views for particular locations. That will probably be the last
metadata compat breakage.
