[Nautilus-list] 'Filterware'

Has any consideration been given to built in 'filter-ware'?

What I have in mind is thus...

1) All net activity is logged, if a 'child protection' settings are enabled,
each request sends a query to dmoz.org to check under which directory it is,
and if it is present logs the directory path - dmoz/software/linux/...
 along with the site name.

if it is not present, it sends a query to google.com -
related:http://unknownsite.com

and logs the paths that are returned from the query

if it still does not find a path, it flags it as unknown

Nautilus could have settings to block certain paths (and unknown paths),
and/or have a popup window that states 'Warning, this site may contain
content that your parent finds objectionable - do you wish to proceed
anyway?'

There could also be a button for submitting sites that return an unknown
path to the appropriate dmoz.org maintainer, thus helping it to grow more
quickly.

Does this sound like something that would be feasible/worthwhile to do?

It would likely give parents a more secure feeling about letting there
children online with Linux. Plus, it would handle nicely the problem that
other filtering/blocking software has, namely that what is blocked isn't
publicly auditable, and is thus susceptible to hidden agendas.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
