I hadn't read the proposal, but I think a physical shuffle is a great
idea.  Why shuffle the play order when you can shuffle the playlist and
get:

1)  no-repeated-tracks through the playlist
2) see what's next and what just played, with forward/back buttons
working properly.

I don't know why more apps don't do it this way (but then with most apps
I suppose the 'playlist' is also the 'library' (eg, XMMS)).
