[mlview-list] MlView 0.9.0 unstable development release



Hello,

MlView 0.9.0 is an unstable development release. It is the basis of the coming 0.10.0 "a-bit-more-stable"
release. Yeah, nothing can be considered stable before 1.0, really.

Anyway, the main point of this release is that we now have switched the code base to C++ and gtkmm.
Kudos to gtkmm hackers by the way :-)

Everything now compiles with g++. The 0.8.xx code base is really behind us now :-)

Packagers are invited to package this release if they wish,
but we'd like them to let the debuging options turned on
(namely --enable-debug=yes, which is set by default) so that users
can append the debugging messages they see in the terminal to bug reports.

Again, this is a development release, so you are kindly invited to test it and report bugs now
so that we can fix them before 0.10.0.

What is MlView ?

MlView is a generic XML editor for GNOME. It basically lets
you edit all types of XML files without
any risk of forgeting to close a tag here or there ;)
