Hi all,
I am new to this list. and i want to know more
about how to go about using memprof.
I was unable to get as to how to make use of the
gui.
When i type memprof on the commmand line it pops up
a gui. but i dont know how to use it.
I was able to run a process in memprof . but unable
to make sense of the infomration which it displys in the gui.
For eg.
when i start my process in memprof.
A yello bar shows up. probably indicating the
memory used.
My process basically waits for incomin connections
and processing them.
SO when i make a connection the yello bar increases
slightly.
afyter i close the connection. the yello portion of
the bar becomes small. and the rest of the portion of the bar is
blue.
I am not able to understand the meaning of these
colours.
also How to read infomation of Profile
and Leak.
Please let me know.
