I have the same problem!
Whenever I start the 'meld', I see this error message:

  Fatal Python error: can't initialise module gtksourceview
  Aborted

Although I have these packages installed:

  gtksourceview-sharp-2.0-0.10-0.novell
  gtksourceview-devel-1.2.0-1
  gnome-python2-gtksourceview-2.10.0-2.1
  gtksourceview-1.2.0-1
  gnome-python2-extras-2.10.0-2.1
