Follow-up Comment #10, bug #13788 (project mc):
Well, the UTF-8 patches applied to MC by many vendors/distributions are not
officially supported here. You'd better use the bug report system of your
distribution to report bugs related to MC with UTF-8 support.
Still you can post it here but file a new bug report . This one will be
closed as invalid.
