Follow-up Comment #1, bug #13984 (project mc):
The file containing the last working directory is created at MC shutdown and
then removed by the wrapper script. You cannot see it during normal operation
of MC. Try this:
1) Start MC like this without the use of the wrapper script:
/path/to/mc -P /some/file
2) F10
3) cat /some/file
